Suluban Beach is one of Bali's most unique beaches. It is hidden between naturally shaped limestone formations and is only accessible via stairs through narrow cliffs along rocks. The small beach may not be ideal for sunbathing, but it is suitable for swimming or surfing. It is located just south of the beautiful Uluwatu Temple.
Suluban Beach is also called 'Blue Point' and is located at the end of Jalan Mamo. This road passes the peninsula and also comes along Uluwatu. Nowadays, you can also rent one of the villas near the beach (such as Blue Point Bay Villas). From places such as Kuta and Jimbaran you can do the best with the hotel bus, taxi or motor.

You can park the car or motorway on the road before the stairs are leading you to the beach. From here you have to walk about a 10-minute walk down a path. You don't find the beach right at the end. You'll still have to go along some cafés (with cold bintangs, light bites and surfer snacks, including local favorite nasi campur), surfboard rental and art shops, with the Single Fin Bar on your right and finally you'll go along a narrow rock and then you the most important: the beach!
The path is narrow and steep; usually the tourists have to get upstairs first before you can get down. A long wooden path along a large cave serves as a promenade, which leads you over some rocks to the soft sand, while the sounds of the breaking waves become audible. |

The cave is also a favorite camping place because tents and fires are still visible. In the meanwhile you will see the azure blue water and air through the narrow openings.
There are several rocky mini caves that you can explore and even claim as a resting place for the day. They also lead to other parts of the beach. The best time is when the tide is down is. Then you have more space on the beach and see the sandpaths clearer. Surfers come and go to low and high water.
There are Balawista beach guards who supervise a lookout tower northwest of the beach. They mainly look at the waves and surfers. There is no beach guard at work on the beach itself. Make sure you look good at the tide, as the flow can be strong. The waves can sometimes come through hard caves and sometimes pose a threat. For young children, Suluban Beach is not recommended. The early morning is usually the best time to avoid the hustle and bustle, so you can easily find your favorite places, although it is the most beautiful thing about sunset. You can climb the rocks for beautiful views.
