Lemukih Waterfalls

"The journey downhill takes us through different types of nature. From huge palm trees, brightly colored ferns to colorful shrubs, it's all over. We keep our eyes open, because many different animals come along. There are large spiders, brightly colored butterflies fly around us and a special dragonfly regularly flies by. Wonderful to be in this nature!"

From Lovina you drive along the coast but east (Singaraja) and then take a right turn: towards the mountains to Lemukih. Narrow roads now follow between mountains and past rice fields. After arriving in Lemukih you park the car in the parking lot. Here is a small warung where you can buy delicious Nasi Campur and then eat it at the falls. The distance from Singaraja to these beautiful waterfalls is 26 kilometers.
The Sekumpul and Lemukih waterfalls are close together and are a real "must see" when you are in Bali. Through an adventurous journey through the green nature that this area is rich in, you reach the impressive Sekumpul and Lemukih waterfall after a few kilometers. waterfalls begin.

The walking tour leads you through a picturesque view of the mountains of the rainforest and green rice terraces to one of the most breathtaking places in Bali: the waterfalls of Lemukih and Sekumpul. The waterfalls attract few visitors due to their hidden location.
An idyllic idyll is revealed in the beginning: intense green rice terraces behind those on which the jungle climbs the mountain slopes. It is easy to walk through rice terraces and along the river in unspoilt nature. The first stop is at a 20 meter long natural river slide. Enjoy - and feel like a child again.

After a short time you will reach the next activity. You can jump 4 meters down from the rocks into the natural swimming pool! Don't worry, you don't have to when you don't feel like it!
You cross the river and you reach a viewpoint on a hill with a picturesque view of the top of all three Lemukih waterfalls. Mind blow! But it gets even better: your next stop is the sacred springs, all-natural mountain springs that form a huge swimming pool. The bath flows to the highest of the two Sekumpul waterfalls. An exciting - but magical - moment to stay on top of the 90 meter high waterfall. It is an “Infinity Pool” par excellence.

From here, the path leads down into the gorge to reach the various swimming pools. The journey downhill takes us through different types of nature. From huge palm trees, brightly colored ferns to colorful shrubs. At the end of the stairs you walk over a bridge.
Arriving at the waterfall, it's time to walk around and swim in the natural lakes, or just relax or meditate in the powerful energy of the falls before you have to climb the way back up again. You can take a lunch break in Warung Fiji with a beautiful view of the rice fields. It is well deserved! Here you can enjoy lunch and a cold fresh coconut - and take even more beautiful photos on the panorama swing (Fiji swing).

From a travelogue:

"These were the most beautiful waterfalls I have seen. It is a difficult way to get there (read: by car AND then on foot). They are very steep and high stairs (sometimes concrete, sometimes natural stairs).
From Kuta we took 3:30 to get there. Possible to combine with something else in the area ......
Take a poncho with you because there is a good chance that you will get wet."
