Kuta, Legian and Seminyak are one agglomerate. They are stuck together. The boundaries of the municipalities are difficult to distinguish. One street of the municipality turns into the next: with the same name. One bar is next to the other, but one of those is in Kuta and the other one in Legian.
The bars / nightclub often change name or owner. Sometimes it is renovated and it does not look like the old one anymore. Everything is subject to change! Below are popular bars / nightclubs that have retained their old name.
Engine Room is a hip nightclub with three floors, where in the evening mostly young audience. The club is located in the main street of the center of Legian. The doors of the club are already open in the afternoon, rather than most others. Party people can go directly from the Legian sidewalk to the big dance floor and it is a popular first stop during nightlife.
Passers-by, walking on the Jalan Legian, can easily catch a glimpse of the interior of the Engine Room. This is lively with lasers, disco balls and LED lights. The daily happy hour is from 19:00 to 01:00. When you order two lychee martinis or strawberry daiquiris, you get two for the price of one.
The first, second and third floors are called the 'front', 'red' and 'blue' arena respectively. There are regular drink promotions from Bintang beer.
Vi Ai Pi
This is one of Legian's most visited nightspots, and is conveniently located in the center of Legian, just a stone's throw from the legendary 'Ground Zero' memorial. It is located on the second and third floor of a building. You have to go up between two boutiques.
The first floor has a bar with high stools and has a dining area at the back, while on the third floor is a spacious club area, which becomes more lively later in the night. Fashion shows and exotic dancers can be seen at the weekend. Dazzling are the drag queens, dancing under disco lights, with sexy pole dancers in the background. DJ's party through until the late night hours. The Vi Ai Pi is one of the few locations where access is free for everyone. |

Eikon Bar & Club
Eikon is a restaurant, bar and lounge that are all combined into one, but it is the last two that have put this place on the map. The funky bar has turned Legian's nightlife on its head since a long time with its great live music and party-goers.
The Eikon boys always try to come up with new ideas for fun events and quirky themed evenings. Their local DJs are always colorful, while there are international guest DJs, who run R & B, Hip Hop and House.
Azul Beach Club
Azul Beach Club is one of the best places in Legian to enjoy relaxed drinks, sea breezes and views during the day and relax at sunset. The restaurant and bar at the beach (formerly The Parasol) is located near the Bali Mandira Beach Resort and falls through its attractive bamboo structure.
The beach club consists of semi-open dining areas, a bar and lounges over three floors, all designed under thatched roofs. During the day, the Azul Beach Club offers a pleasantly cool shelter to escape from the heat, where you can enjoy a beautiful sea view.
There is a tasteful selection of snacks, which are made by chef Arif Wicaksono. The chef has had 30 years of experience all over the world before settling in Bali, his home port. His experience reflects the varied menu, which includes a variety of tapas, Asian small plates and Mediterranean dishes. 'Chef's creation pizzas' have a topping of 'gado-gado', the famous Indonesian mixed salad with dressing of peanut sauce on the thin bottom.
SKAI Beach Club
SKAI Beach Club at Padma Resort Legian is an important beachfront location where you can enjoy the amazing sunsets. You also enjoy the Legian branding from cozy lounge chairs, which are indoors, or you can enjoy the outdoor terrace on the semi-alfresco terrace. You can also enjoy the swimming pool here infinitely.

" Professionally conceived drag queen shows and cute male gogo dancers. As a woman, it is something different than in most other bars where only girls are dancing on stage. It is certainly not an expensive bar, especially if you compare prices with European bars. Especially on Friday and Saturday nights it is full house! All other nights: top! We have been there several evenings and certainly plan our next holiday there again, if only to be able to laugh with the sympathetic waiters"
