GOA RAJA WATERVAL

"Many famous waterfalls in the Bangli district, but many do not know that the Goa Raja waterfall is very extraordinary. But the landscape of the area, where the Goa Raja is located, is also extraordinary."

The region Bangli is an area without a coastal area. It therefore has no beach attraction. Located in the highlands, Bangli has a number of quite popular tourist destinations, including the Kintamani volcano, Goa Raja Waterfall, the village of Trunyan, the village of Penglipuran, the Kehen temple, the mountains and Lake Batur.
The Goa Raja Waterfall is located near the village of Jehem in the middle east of Bali.

To reach the Goa Raja waterfall, visitors must walk about 700 meters, of which 200 meters along a river, which you also have to cross. You don't have to get wet, because they have built a kind of bridge. But along the way you will be spoiled with a beautiful natural landscape.
After descending the stairs you come to a very old place: Candi Tebing. This is a temple altar that has been carved from the rocks and dates from the 10th century. A landslide in 1991 meant that only this altar of the temple remained.

This location is now the entrance to the Goa Raja waterfall, which was recently opened to the public, which was said to be an old hermit's house. Many large plants grow here, such as durian trees, palm trees, crackle trees, tall grass weeds and ferns.

The Goa Raja waterfall is so amazing and beautiful. For those of you who want to explore this place, we recommend using a rental car with a local driver, why? Because this waterfall is categorized as a new one, it is of course quite difficult to find it. Together with local drivers or guides, your trip will certainly be more efficient. In addition to visiting this place, you can also combine it with various other interesting places mentioned above.

What does Goa Raja mean? Goa Raja means "huge cave". Yes, as the name suggests, behind this waterfall is a huge cave.
Goa Raja waterfall is accessible from Ubud and the journey takes only 1 hour. From Seminyak, Kuta or Nusa Dua you need approximately 1.45 hours.

From a travelogue:

"Goa Raja is one of the tourist places that has been visited lately because of the beautiful waterfalls and the beautiful landscape, also far from the hustle and bustle of community life. the cave behind the waterfall is the big attraction of this waterfall."
