Bali is blessed with a variety of coastlines and many 'hidden' beaches that have only been discovered in recent years. One such beach, which has recently become popular, is Pasir Putih Beach, which is often referred to by various nicknames, such as "Perasi Beach", "White Sand Beach", "Virgin Beach" or simply "Hidden Beach."
Upon arrival you will find a large parking lot for visitors, where there is enough space for cars and motorcycles in the shade of coconut trees. The waves and the sand are visible from here. The name 'Virgin Beach' was perhaps the very first thought of the foreign visitors, who 'discovered' the beach and found an unspoilt stretch of sand with a fantastic view of the small rocky island of Gili Biaha.
The allure of Pasir Putih lies in its serene environment and calmer waves compared to the popular coasts in the west. A unique combination of boulders in the white sand at the cliffs and white sand with black stripes (despite one of his first names, 'White Sand Beach') add to the appeal.

Due to the growing popularity there are several locally run restaurants and cafes (better referred to as traditional 'warung') at the parking lot. Some names: Warung Maria, Warung Sederhana, Warung Kokak, Virgin Cafe, Warung Sunrise, Warung Gusti & Leo, Warung Budi Ayu and Relax Cafe. Some also offer other services such as fishing, snorkeling and sailing. Some warung and cafés have colorful umbrellas and day beds with pillows. At the far western end of this beach are traditional jukung stamps for fishermen from Perasi and nearby Bugbug, set against a backdrop of rocks.
The visitors to Pasir Putih can enjoy various water activities such as swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing, or simply enjoy different dishes served with beautiful views. There are various seafood from the bbq, while international dishes such as sandwiches and omelettes are also available. There are refreshing young coconuts that are cut open to order, soft drinks and beers with cold bottles and fresh fruit juices.
