Kuta Theatre is a beautiful theatre where you can look at a cultural show with a unique twist in Bali. They hold regular daily show which be held twice a day, at 5PM (for big groups) and at 8PM (regular show).
The theatre features stage performances, with most of its cast in dazzling Balinese dance costumes, but all of which only serve as cool diversions to the variety of modern illusions and tricks that unfold throughout the act. The theatre is a great alternative to walk down the beach, as well as the bars and nightlife offerings in Kuta or Legian, and is simply a great place to drop before you have dinner.
The theatre is on the eastern side of Jalan Kartika Plaza in Kuta, just opposite the Bali Garden Beach Resort and upstairs in the second building of the Kuta Centre. The start of the show has the stage curtains opening to a simplified rendition of the Legong Dance. Then the magicians and their supporting actors and actresses take over the scene, performing sets of illusions with a touch of theatrical drama and mystery.
Some of the illusions are well performed, ranging from the classic sawing a lady in half, a good deal of diversion and vanishing tricks, levitations, displacements and others. Gasping, then thinking about just how they did it is all part of the entertainment, and will keep you and the kids wowing and talking after the show.
The magical cultural live show is called “Lights of Faith”, it’s a collaboration of drama, modern illusion and Balinese traditional dance. The Show itself is inspired by a Balinese true story of a Friendship between Gusti Atmaja and Ni Ulantari, and it’s performed in a special designated Stage with 60.000 Watts of Lighting System, 20.000 Watts of Sound System, 26 sophisticated Theater Effects and Multimedia to match your beyond expectation of
the spectacular show and gives you an unbelievable lifetime experience during your holiday. |
